Megan has over 20 years of experience in higher education admissions and advising roles at Georgetown University, George Washington University, Duke University, Loyola University Chicago, and most recently at the University of Massachusetts. She has read tens of thousands of applications and knows what makes an applicant strong on their own and what makes them stand out among the competition.
Megan applies her knowledge and experience to help applicants reflect on what they learned and how they have prepared, emphasizing the importance of being authentic to their own identity both as a future professional and as the kind of person they are and want to be.
Megan earned her BA from The Ohio State University with a double major in Political Science and International Studies. Her Masters and doctoral work in higher education administration were at George Washington University, and she earned an additional masters and a certificate in College Teaching at Duke University.
"Megan worked wonders in getting my teenager to focus and complete his college applications on time, without added stress. Having her support throughout the process was a lifesaver, and I highly recommend her services!"
"Megan has provided invaluable guidance on countless life decisions that I have made-- and MD/PhD, fellowship, and scholarship applications that I have submitted over the years. She cares deeply about each of her students, is a wealth of knowledge about all things academia and interviewing, and wants to help people, above all else, achieve their highest goals. She is the ultimate advisor. I am so lucky to have benefited from her expertise, and know that in many ways I am able to live my dream now because of her."
